Hello My New Best Friend!! (lipstickmasala)!!!

I was gonna buy the fragrance Rock and Rose by Valentino. Now I know where to buy it from! I am thinking what make up I need, cause it says it’s if $200 worth shopping, shipping is free. So now to save 5 bucks I will spend another 100! hahaha…atleast it won’t be on shipping! :P

i don’t know if i want the smudge brush!

    Any recommendations?

  5. Sarah, try out the bobbi brown pot rouge – it is amazing, and cream blushes are very IN for the spring! All the colors are amazing, even the wacky hot pink one. If you want something a little toned down, try the pink truffle.

Maria, I am currently in Dubai for a few days and wanted to tell you that I have met quite a few people who have gone out of their way to tell me that they are obsessed with your website and refresh the page about 9 times a day!!! As all of us know, some people are hesitant to comment and admit that they are hooked to your blog… but just wanted to reassure you that you are doing a brilliant job. Keep it up!

  7. Omar, thanks so much for your message. That really means a lot! I’ve been swamped with work so haven’t had much time to update lately, but am enjoying it immensely. I understand people are shy, hopefully they’ll feel comfortable soon to contribute to the forum. I love hearing different people’s ideas, as I’m sure the other girls’ do. It’s great to know I have readers all over the world :D

Another example – a friend of mine said that “as women who have grown up in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh, we are familiar with what make up suits us.. but there are a lot of Asians who are raised abroad and are not as aware, so I have sent them this Blog and they really appreciated it and are already using all these tips and making a difference”.

  9. Thanks for your kind words! I agree, women who have grown up in South Asia are at a bit of an advantage because cosmetics marketing is specifically geared toward them. However, this site is also for women back home – readers and contributors here share their secrets for application techniques along with product secrets that have worked for them that I hope your friend and other girls living in South Asia will find useful too. Please thank your friend for passing on the site, we would love to hear some of her tips that are working for the ladies back home! :)

i think we all have smthg to learn from each other-whether we’re living in indian subcontinent or abroad- this is a forum in which we are having fun sharing our techniques- for eg., i have an aunt in pakistan who hasnt been successful in finding a good foundation bec she has dark olive coloured skin and a lighter foundation is forced on her all the time.
